A year has come and gone since my mom asked me to go to the iblog3 summit with her. Last year I declined since I had a lot of studying to do (as I was taking up summer units). I was looking forward to meeting new bloggers this year and attending this year’s iblog4, but I’ll sadly have to decline yet again. I’ll be in Guangzhou, China studying for the next 6 weeks (starting April11) and won’t be able to blog a lot, much less attend the blogging summit.
But that doesn’t prevent other bloggers from attending such an event. From my mom’s experience, she has gotten to meet a lot of different bloggers and has learned a lot of new things, so it’s really an opportunity to take hold of.
Basically, the summit will take place..
When: April 26, 2008, 9am-5pm
Where: Malcolm Theatre, College of Law, UP Diliman, QC
This event is organized by the University of the Philippines – Internet Society Program.
So..hope you attend and take this opportunity to learn more about the world of blogging, with all its twists and turns. It’s not as easy as it looks, blogging can be a very complicated profession/hobby.
