He is met by his daughter Yanhong who introduces him to her boyfriend, and a policeman who sympathizes with his plight and agrees to help him find his son. Things get complicated when the policeman recognizes the boyfriend, who drives a luxury car, for his involvement in a past crime. Bo and Li should have made the perfect Bonnie and Clyde. Partners in crime and passion, the couple swindle their way across China, until one fine day Li suddenly decides to call it quits, both to her egregious lifestyle and to her entanglement with Bo.
